Job title: Sterile Processing Technician
Job location: Morristown, NJ 07960
Shift: Monday-Friday 3-11pm
Pay Rate : $30 - $34/hr without benefits
Date range approx: 06/01/2026 to 08/29/2026, Possible Extension
Education:
High school diploma.
Licenses, Certifications:
Certified Registered Central Service Technician or CBSPD
Additional Details:
Required years of experience - 3 plus
Required hard skills - Orthopedics and Neuro instruments
Familiarity with the correct materials for packaging, wrapping and sterilization methods of all instrument sets and trays.
Complete knowledge of a case cart preparation system
Basic computer knowledge with an Instrument Tracking system (ABACUS/MICROSYSTEMS) preferred.
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. Heavy lifting and pushing (trays & sterilization carts).
Responsible for decontamination, prepping and packaging
Sterilization processes of all surgical instrumentation and patient care equipment
