Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for our client in the medical facility. This is a temporary assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Details:
Schedule: 8am to 5pm
Location: Tarpon Springs, FL
Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 3 months (possibility of extension)
Pay Range: $22/hr- $23.40/hr
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
Description
· Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and medication information.
· Administer medications, immunizations, injections, EKGs, ear irrigations, and other patient care services under physician supervision.
· Assist physicians with examinations, minor surgical procedures, and office-based procedures.
· Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care as directed by the provider.
Required Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Current Medical Assistant Certification
