Job Title: Project Manager III - Services Marketing
Location: Culver City, CA (Hybrid/Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month W2 Contract (Potential for Extension)
Pay Rate: $70 - $79/hour W2 (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Russell Tobin is supporting a leading global technology and consumer services organization in its search for an experienced Project Manager III to join a high-performing Services Marketing team. This role will focus on driving complex, cross-functional marketing initiatives supporting digital content and subscription-based services.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced environments where collaboration, operational excellence, and flawless execution are critical.
ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of marketing initiatives from intake and scoping through execution, launch, and post-launch review.
Partner cross-functionally with teams across Business, Product, PR, Analytics, Growth, Media, Creative, Engineering, Editorial, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to drive alignment and execution.
Manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across international teams and time zones.
Develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, timelines, trackers, and key deliverables.
Assist with annual and quarterly planning and forecasting for marketing initiatives.
Oversee event planning and execution for high-visibility programs and marketing initiatives.
Support subscription growth initiatives, including lifecycle marketing, customer engagement campaigns, and multi-channel experiences.
Maintain project documentation, production schedules, status reports, and master timelines across multiple initiatives.
Drive alignment on changing priorities, timelines, and scope while ensuring stakeholders remain informed.
Facilitate team meetings, kickoffs, executive reviews, status updates, and post-mortem sessions.
Identify risks, dependencies, and potential gaps early and proactively drive resolution.
Ensure clear communication and visibility across stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, operational processes, and team efficiencies.
Coordinate meetings, document action items, and track deliverables to ensure accountability.
Partner with fellow project managers to establish and maintain project management standards and best practices.
Exercise discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
6 years of experience in project or program management within marketing, product marketing, growth, or operations environments.
3-5 years of experience in event planning, experiential marketing, or event management, including ownership of end-to-end execution for high-visibility programs.
Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable plans.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a high degree of ownership and initiative.
Proven ability to anticipate change, proactively solve problems, and independently drive work forward.
Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality execution.
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Airtable, Wrike, Workfront, Quip, Coda, or similar platforms.
Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.
Experience supporting subscription-based products, digital services, or consumer technology organizations.
Familiarity with multi-channel marketing campaigns, lifecycle marketing, customer engagement programs, or growth initiatives.
Experience partnering across marketing, business, product, analytics, and creative teams.
Understanding of customer journey strategies and customer engagement within a services ecosystem.
Ability to influence cross-functional partners without direct authority.
Strong operational rigor with experience managing highly detailed executional workflows.
Passion for process improvement and operational efficiency.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
