Marketing Manager III

Russell Tobin is supporting a confidential global technology and consumer brand in hiring a Marketing Manager (Paid Search -Google Ads / Performance Marketing)  for a 6-month W2 contract opportunity based in Culver City, CA (hybrid). This is an excellent opportunity for a performance marketing professional with deep Google Ads experience who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoys optimizing campaigns across multiple retail and consumer accounts.

• Pay Rate: $60-$70/hour depending on experience

• Potential: Opportunity for extension  based on business needs

We are looking for a hands-on Paid Search Coordinator to support a high-performing performance media team responsible for paid search campaigns across multiple retail and consumer accounts. This is an execution-heavy role best suited for someone who has strong agency or in-house performance marketing experience and works inside Google Ads on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise across Google Search, Shopping, and Performance Max (PMax) campaigns, enjoys optimizing performance through testing and analysis, and can manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.

• Analyze, optimize, and manage Google Ads (Search, Shopping, and Performance Max) campaigns from the ground up

• Conduct keyword research, write and test ad copy, and manage bidding strategies

• Monitor daily campaign performance and make optimization recommendations related to bids, budgets, negative keywords, audience targeting, and creative testing

• Support weekly and monthly reporting by pulling data, providing light analysis, and translating performance metrics into actionable insights

• Recommend and execute A/B tests across ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies

• Manage campaign budgets and pacing across multiple accounts simultaneously

• Support business reporting rhythms including weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews, campaign launches, and post-launch analysis

• Stay current on Google Ads platform updates, beta features, and paid search best practices

• Assist with Microsoft/Bing Ads campaigns as needed

• Partner with analytics teams to ensure accurate tracking, UTM conventions, conversion tracking, and GA4 implementation

• 5 years of hands-on paid search / SEM / PPC experience

• Prior agency-side experience strongly preferred

• Deep expertise in Google Ads Search, Google Shopping, and Performance Max (PMax)

• Strong proficiency with Google Ads Editor

• Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP

• Experience managing multiple accounts, campaigns, or business lines concurrently

• Familiarity with bid management and automation tools

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and time management

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

• Experience with Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or TikTok Ads

• Experience using Looker Studio, Tableau, or other data visualization tools

• Google Ads Search Certification

• Experience in Retail, D2C, or B2C marketing environments

• Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• Google Ads Search Certification

• Google Analytics (GA4) Certification

• Google Shopping Ads Certification
