What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saleshelper/loader Garden Center Nursery position at Prickett's Nursery - Healdsburg?
Loader/ SalesHelper needed:
No experience necessary. Our ideal candidate is polite, friendly, responsible and strong. Must be able to consistently lift over 50lbs and not be afraid of physical work, getting a bit dirty and working outside in all elements. Must be able to take direction well and have a positive attitude. Option to also do deliveries and transfers in our company flatbed truck for qualified candidates.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Loading soil, plants, pottery and other nursery related product into customers' vehicles
- Unloading delivery trucks and merchandising plants, pottery and product into nursery
- Plant maintenance including watering and pruning
- Nursery maintenance including weeding and raking
- Restocking soil products
- Assisting sales staff and cashiers with displays and moving of merchandise as necessary or as directed.
- Unloading, loading, cutting, drilling of Christmas trees during the holidays.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
