Delivery Driver/Nursery helper - Garden Center Nursery
No nursery experience necessary but must be comfortable driving a 12' flatbed truck two or more days per week, delivering plants and nursery goods to customers' homes and to our Santa Rosa location.
Our Ideal candidate has a positive attitude, is polite, courteous, friendly, responsible, strong and energetic. Must be able to consistently lift over 50lbs. This is a physically demanding job. If you love being outdoors, this job is for you!
Duties include but not limited to:
- Loading soil, plants, pottery and other nursery related product into customers' vehicles
- Unloading delivery trucks and merchandising plants, pottery and product into the nursery
- Plant maintenance including watering and pruning
- Nursery maintenance including weeding and raking
- Restocking soil products
- Assisting sales staff and cashiers with displays and moving of merchandise and displays as necessary and as directed.
- Delivering plants and product to customers' homes
- Transferring plants and product between our Healdsburg and Santa Rosa location
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
