Governance, Analytics, and Reporting

  • Track and analyze benefit costs, utilization, and market trends.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to support management decision-making.
  • Maintain documentation for audits, renewals, and compliance purposes.
  • Drive fiscal accountability by managing diverse funding requirements —from fixed premiums to variable claims—while overseeing reconciliations, reserves, and stop-loss performance to ensure total budgetary accuracy.
  • Identify and propose opportunities for cost management and plan improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and legislative changes impacting health and welfare benefits.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support

  • Work closely with Compensation, Payroll, Accounting, and PO Business Partners to ensure seamless benefit administration and financial accuracy.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on benefits-related matters for the U.S.
  • Participate in Total Rewards projects and policy development as assigned.

Partnership with External Benefits Brokers and Consultants

  • Serve as the primary liaison with the company’s external benefits brokers and consultants to support U.S. benefit programs.
  • Collaborate on plan design reviews, renewals, cost analyses, compliance activities, and benchmarking.
  • Coordinate with the consultant and local PO teams to ensure data accuracy, reporting consistency, and timely execution of benefit renewals.
  • Partner with the consultant to identify opportunities for improvement, cost efficiency, and alignment with Total Rewards strategy.

Benefits Experience and Education

  • Benefits Literacy & Communication: Develop and execute a year-round communication strategy to ensure employees fully understand their coverage, "how to use" their plans, and the hidden value of the Total Rewards package.
  • Educational Programming: Curate and lead targeted workshops on high-impact topics such as financial wellness, HSA/FSA optimization, retirement readiness, EAP and mental health resources.
  • User Journey Optimization: Audit and refine the end-to-end employee experience for key "life moments"—including onboarding, leaves of absence, and family changes—to ensure seamless benefit transitions and support.
  • Advocacy & Navigation: Act as a high-touch resource for employees navigating complex claims or sensitive health issues, providing expert guidance to resolve disputes and maximize plan utilization.
