Joining the Finance Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that transaction taxes are calculated, remitted and reported in a timely manner for its Travel Product Portfolio. In this role you will get to: The primary responsibilities of the State and Local Tax (SALT) Manager Indirect Tax will be to ensure compliance with US indirect tax laws, ensuring compliance with such laws by the Company’s brands. Support the monitoring of indirect tax contingency reserves and tax risk positions of the Company brands with a focus on the US, ensuring that they are consistent with the Company’s finance policies Handle the compliance process for a new entity Registration and filing returns for over 200 jurisdictions Keeping a calendar to ensure timely filings Provide support to accounts payable and GL teams for tax Payments and reimbursements Who you are: Indirect tax compliance experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting, taxation or finance required; master’s degree preferred 5–7 years of proven experience with a focus in indirect tax and Experience in marketplace facilitators laws Strong digital literacy, including office 365 including but not limited Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Ability to work collaboratively and independently to meet tight deadlines #LI-SQ1 #LI-Hybrid There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required.
