As part of the User Interaction Engineering team you are expected to lead the design and research of user experience for multiple products. As a Director you are expected to set the strategic direction, lead business development efforts, and oversee multiple projects while maintaining impactful executive-level client relations. You are crucial in driving business growth, shaping client engagements, and mentoring the future leaders, maintaining PwC's reputation for quality, integrity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and research of user experience for multiple products
  • Set strategic direction for the User Interaction Engineering team
  • Drive business development efforts to identify growth opportunities
  • Oversee multiple projects confirming impactful client relations
  • Mentor and guide emerging leaders within the team
  • Uphold PwC's standards for quality, integrity, and inclusion
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Leverage technology to enhance user experience designs
What You Must Have
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree or in lieu of a degree, demonstrating three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college.
What Sets You Apart
  • Master's Degree in Computer and Information Science, Organizational Behavior Studies, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Graphic Design preferred
  • User Experience Design Certifications from recognized institutions
  • Demonstrated training in WCAG AA or AAA requirements
  • User experience trends and platform specific UX design systems
  • Designing for multi-device experiences
  • Conducting user-centered research
  • Leadership in communicating research and design rationale
  • Leading and overseeing various phases of UX work
  • Collaborating with Product Management and Engineering

The salary range for this position is: $155,000 - $410,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
