Senior UX/UI Designer (REMOTE)

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will lead the way in creating simple, user-friendly designs that make our products easy and enjoyable to use. We're looking for someone who takes initiative and thoughtfully advocates for what's best for the user experience, collaborating with others to create the most effective solutions. You'll collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and other teams, bringing fresh ideas and thoughtful solutions to the table.

We need someone who can simplify complex problems, design with purpose, and confidently stand by their decisions to ensure we're delivering the best experience for our users. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Design and refine user interfaces for web and mobile platforms, focusing on creating simple, intuitive, and user-friendly experiences.

• Take initiative to identify design opportunities and propose thoughtful solutions that improve the user journey.

• Create prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that clearly communicate concepts and prioritize simplicity.

• Collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, and other stakeholders, driving alignment and ensuring designs meet user needs.

• Establish and maintain design systems and guidelines that promote consistency and simplicity across all products.

• Continuously iterate and improve designs by providing fresh ideas and solutions.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• A proactive approach to creating simple, user-friendly designs.

• Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Figma.

• Clear communication skills to explain design ideas and decisions.

• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.

• Open to learning about the property management industry and gaining a deep understanding of our product to improve user flows.

• Collaborative and confident in leading design decisions.

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a proven track record of creating simple, user-friendly designs.

• Strong understanding of Material Design principles and best practices.

• Experience designing web and mobile applications.

• Familiarity with collaborating with product and engineering teams.

• Demonstrated ability to understand complex systems and simplify user flows.

• A portfolio showcasing thoughtful, user-centered designs and problem-solving skills.

• Bonus: Experience in SaaS or property management technology is a plus.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• 5-10% travel may be required for customer events and/or strategic in-person meetings

Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
