We provide full-time and part-time opportunities as Direct Support Professionals. Our Direct Support Professionals are often the first point of contact for our consumers' day-to-day needs and the interaction between our consumers and our Direct Support Professionals is a key factor in their overall care. We are seeking responsible employees who are passionate about the opportunity to help mold and shape the lives of our consumers.
Responsibilities:
- During day hours (8a-4p or 8:30a-4:30p), provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a variety of ways, e.g. transporting to and from community center.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities in accomplishing day-to-day community inclusion activities by transporting them to places of interest.
- Help individuals with developmental disabilities develop social interaction skills by modeling appropriate behaviors and interacting with other individuals.
- Provide direct supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities to ensure their safety.
- Perform daily documentation on consumers based on Individual Support Plan and established goals.
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment at Price Community Center.
- Conduct Pre-employment screening and state Division trainings, e.g. background checks, drug testing, CPR First Aide, Crisis training, etc.
- Maintain a professional and ethical mindset while delivering person center model services to adult consumers with developmental disabilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $19.50 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
- human/social services: 1 year (Preferred)
