Role: Jr. IT Business Analyst
Full-time/Permanent
Location: NYC - Must be local (4 days a week on site and five days once a month )
Financial Services experience/big 4 consulting experience required.
This role will work closely with business users to understand requirements, analyze data, and translate findings into actionable insights. A successful candidate will be a quick learner, detail-oriented, and comfortable presenting their work to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial services operations, working on projects that improve efficiency, data quality, and business decision making.
SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Quick to learn new systems and processes, especially within Salesforce.
- Comfortable analyzing data and spotting trends or issues.
- Strong Excel skills, familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
- Proactive in suggesting improvements and solving problems
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Haves:
- Exposure to working in an Agile environment (e.g., using Jira for sprint management).
- Experience with SQL for querying and managing data.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience within financial services industry
Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
