If you thrive in an environment where no two days are the same and enjoy balancing creativity with logistics and execution, you'll fit right in.
As an Event Account Manager, you'll serve as the lead contact for a portfolio of clients, guiding projects from the initial conversation through event execution and post-event follow-up.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
- Manage incoming event inquiries and convert opportunities into successful projects.
- Meet with clients to understand their goals, vision, and budget, then create customized event concepts and production plans.
- Prepare proposals, budgets, timelines, room layouts, production plans, and presentations.
- Lead client meetings, site visits, and venue walkthroughs.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Event Services, Event Technology, Creative Services, Floral, Textiles, and Catering to ensure seamless execution.
- Source and manage vendors, entertainment, sponsors, and other external partners.
- Oversee event setup, production, execution, and breakdown while serving as the primary client contact.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure overall event profitability.
- Problem-solve and make decisions in real time to ensure a successful event experience.
- Prepare post-event recaps, client follow-ups, and internal debriefs to strengthen future events and client relationships.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, relationship builder, and project manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences. You should be highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
- 3 years of experience in event management, hospitality, venue operations, experiential marketing, nonprofit events, or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, vendors, and event logistics.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and an acceptable driving record.
- Starting salary of $50,000 annually, based on experience
- Performance-based commission opportunities
- 401(k) with company match
- Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
- Paid time off and parental leave
- Employee discounts
- Professional development and growth opportunities
