If you've spent a couple of years in a professional repair shop, you already know how flat rate works. You know how to turn wrenches, you've handled your share of brakes, suspension work, tires, maintenance, and you've probably started getting your feet wet with diagnostics.

PMR Automotive is a growing independent repair shop in Marion, Illinois, and we're looking for an Automotive Technician with at least two years of professional shop experience. We're not expecting you to know everything. If you have a solid foundation, a strong work ethic, and the desire to improve, we'll help you build the rest.
You'll work on a wide variety of vehicles and repairs. Some days you're knocking out brakes and suspension work. Other days you're handling maintenance services, drivability concerns, or assisting with diagnostics. No two days are exactly alike, which means you'll continue learning instead of doing the same routine over and over.
We invest in our technicians because we expect them to succeed. You'll have access to modern scan tools, specialty equipment, up-to-date repair information, and ongoing training opportunities. Our service advisors handle the customers and sell the work, so you can stay focused on what you do best—repairing vehicles.

This is a full-time flat-rate position paying $20.00-$30.00 per flagged hour, depending on your experience and abilities. We provide the specialty tools and equipment you'll need, while you'll provide your own hand tools, experience, and a valid driver's license.
