Position Summary
The Owner's Representative Construction Project Manager serves as the primary advocate and decision-maker for the owner throughout the full project lifecycle β from pre-development through close-out. This role protects the owner's financial, schedule, quality, and risk interests while managing architects, engineers, general contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders. The successful candidate will lead multiple concurrent projects, ensure alignment with ownership objectives, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive construction project management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing projects of various sizes ($1M - $50M in total cost)
- Working knowledge of AIA contract documents, GMP and stip-sum delivery methods, design-build and CM-at-risk structures
- Strong command of construction means and methods across structural, MEP, envelope, and finishes scopes
- Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfort presenting to executive leadership and investors
