Bartender/Server

Job Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a bartender/server. While this is a seasonal role, there is a strong possibility of transitioning to a full-time position based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Engage with customers, taking drink orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with restocking as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or busy periods.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food service and alcohol consumption.
• Participate in banquet services as required, providing excellent service during special events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or as a bartender in a nightclub or restaurant setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing.
• Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes and beverage preparation techniques.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments.
