We are seeking a compassionate PCA or personal care assistant to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatrics, hospital medicine, and medical-surgical care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
- Monitor and report changes in health or behavior
Skills:
- Experience in geriatrics, personal care task, and Hoyer lift technique
- Experience in pediatric and disabled adults
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathy and patience when working with individuals in need of care
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Understanding of personal care procedures and techniques
