Process Technician (Night Shift)
Location: Duncan, SC
Schedule: 2/2/3 Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Compensation: $25.00 – $30.00/hour Shift Premium Overtime Bonus Potential
Position Overview
We are seeking a Process Technician to support production operations within a growing manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining equipment uptime, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring efficient, high-quality manufacturing processes.
The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and the ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced production environment. This position offers a clear path for technical growth and advancement within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily technical support to assigned production lines to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and basic electrical issues in a timely manner
- Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and process adjustments as needed
- Execute preventive maintenance (TPM) activities and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor and document downtime, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with operators, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve process efficiency and product quality
- Assist with new product introductions and process validation activities
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or higher in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or technical support environment
- Demonstrated experience with mechanical troubleshooting and equipment setup
- Basic understanding of electrical systems (e.g., multimeter usage, motors, sensors)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs (TPM) and downtime tracking

Work Environment
This position operates primarily in a manufacturing environment and requires frequent interaction with production equipment, tools, and machinery. Candidates must be comfortable working on the production floor and supporting off-shift operations as needed.
