What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN Social Worker position at Prestige?
Prestige Healthcare Administration Services are currently hiring for a PRN Social Services Worker to assist with our Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Facilities.
This position is Per Diem (as needed).
Day Time hours are preferred. We serve various areas in PA such as Philadelphia, Bucks County, and Delaware County.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates knowledge of age specific developmental factors specific to adult and geriatric residents (i.e. physical, cognitive, and socialization factors) in planning social services programs.
- Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to plan social services programs for residents with the following needs: therapeutic, neurological and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, and infectious diseases if applicable.
- Promptly follows-up on admission inquiries, evaluates and assesses the needs of prospective residents to determine appropriateness of facility placement
