We’re looking for an experienced Senior Staff / Tax Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and a thorough understanding of accounting principles. This role will involve managing various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting.

This role will involve managing various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records (QuickBooks Online and Desktop)
- Prepare and file Corporate, Individual, and Tangible Tax Returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1065)
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections
- Perform account reconciliations and general ledger reviews
- Analyze financial data and prepare accurate, timely reports
- Review sales tax and payroll tax returns as needed
- 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- CPA required
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online & Desktop)
- Experience preparing and filing Corporate, Individual, and Tangible Tax Returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1065)
- Strong understanding of journal entries, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation
- Experience with sales tax, tangible property returns, and payroll compliance
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
