Summary

Seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Architecture and Engineering to lead all architectural and engineering efforts for a long-standing client in the food distribution industry. Requirements

• Minimum 10 years in software design, development, and enterprise architecture
• Extensive experience with SaaS applications, food distribution or supply chain background preferred
• Proven leadership in scaling and managing engineering teams, including offshore and nearshore resources
• Strong expertise in Microsoft .NET (Core), Angular, AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, SNS), and CI/CD practices
• Deep knowledge of Postgres, Jsonb, Entity Framework Core, and database query optimization
• Familiarity with serverless frameworks, SOLID principles, CQRS, and modern DevOps best practices
• Excellent communication, personality, and drive to grow teams and foster client relationships
• Experience working closely with C-level executives and managing client account strategies
  
  

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and engineering teams to develop scalable, secure SaaS solutions
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams to define technical vision and strategy
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and innovative technology solutions
• Oversee the deployment and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, including AWS serverless components
• Manage onshore, nearshore, and offshore engineering resources, fostering a team-oriented culture of excellence
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the client CIO and engineering leader, providing strategic guidance
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, testing, and deployment pipelines
• Mentor and develop engineering staff and build a high-performance organization aligned with client growth ambitions
