Requirements
- 3 years in a cloud engineering role
- 5 years in professional IT
- Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native architectures
- Experience with CI/CD automation and scripting (Bash, Python, Node.js)
- Hands-on understanding of cloud networking, backups, recovery, and security
- Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework and VPN implementations
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field; certifications a plus
- Lead operation and governance of AWS environment, including IAM, infrastructure as code, and security
- Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
- Manage cloud infrastructure, networking, and observability platforms (Datadog/CloudWatch)
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and automate remediation processes
- Provide guidance and best practices for cloud architecture, security, and automation
- Mentor junior team members and promote continuous improvement of cloud practices
- Collaborate with managed cloud partners, security teams, and development teams for seamless cloud operations and project delivery
- Assist in cost optimization efforts by analyzing usage, identifying overprovisioning, and implementing infrastructure re-architecture when needed
- Support organizational cloud management tasks, including onboarding, offboarding, and inventory tracking
