DevOps Engineer (Principal)

Pay: $135K-$160K (Depending on experience)

Location: Midtown Atlanta, GA, 30308

Summary

Our client is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to take full ownership of the DevOps function for its Platform. This role involves designing, building, and operating Azure infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and automation that product teams depend on to release safely and frequently.

Requirements

• Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency in C# and Python, and scripting with PowerShell or Bash
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible
• Container orchestration using Kubernetes
• Experience with 24x7 global, high-availability applications
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines and release automation (Azure DevOps, CircleCI, or Octopus Deploy a plus)
• Observability Tooling: New Relic, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Multi-tenant cloud infrastructure and applications
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and establish DevOps standards across squads
  
  

Responsibilities

• Own the DevOps function end-to-end
• Design, build, and operate Azure infrastructure and deployment pipelines
• Establish and maintain IaC, release orchestration, and environment provisioning standards
• Review infrastructure and pipeline work produced by other engineers
• Mentor engineers and drive DevOps best practices across the organization
