Certified Medical Assistant - Alpharetta

Pay: $20-$21 per hour

Location: Alpharetta, GA (100% On-site)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program
• At least 2 years of medical assisting experience
• Ability to read and write medical terminology accurately
• CPR certification required
• Experience with Eclinical or Athena EMR systems preferred
• Primary Care experience strongly preferred
• Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  
  

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and ensure smooth patient flow
• Escort patients to discharge area
• Obtain patient histories, assess and triage patients, measure vital signs, and document information
• Explain treatment procedures and prepare patients and exam rooms
• Position instruments and equipment, assist physicians during procedures
• Clean and sterilize instruments after use
• Assist with injections, vaccinations, and blood draws
• Calculate medication dosages
• Complete medical charts with services rendered, test results, and supplies used
• Perform patient follow-ups, coordinate referrals and testing, schedule appointments
• Support registration staff and perform clerical duties as needed
