Medical Assistant (Internal Medicine)

Prestige Staffing is searching for an internal medicine MA. The ideal candidate will be ok with a temp to perm opportunity where they can make an impact. Looking for someone who wants to take their time getting to know the patients and their needs.  This is a concierge medicine practice with exceptional white glove service. The position involves a mix of administrative and clinical duties, including patient intake, documentation, and basic lab work.

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)
• CPR certification
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in private or concierge settings
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (eClinicalWorks preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Previous experience with injections and phlebotomy (strongly desired)
• Professional, polished demeanor and healthcare-centric attitude
• Ability to commute reliably to Sandy Springs

Responsibilities:

• Greet and prepare patients for exams, obtain vitals, and assist with procedures such as EKGs and immunizations
• Support in-office procedures, including blood draws and specimen collection
• Manage patient documentation and electronic health records accurately and efficiently
• Handle prior authorizations, referrals, and prescription refills
• Help with appointment setting and patient communication including phone calls
• Communicate effectively with patients via phone, email, and portal
• Maintain clinical environment following OSHA and infection control protocols
• Assist with scheduling and front-desk support as needed
• Collaborate with the care team to optimize patient flow and deliver comprehensive, compassionate care
