POSITION SUMMARY
The Facility Manager ensures the safety, functionality, and sustainability of buildings, infrastructure, and real estate to support PHRIs programs and services. Responsibilities include both soft Facilities Management (FM) services related to the use of the facility, such as cleaning and supplies as well as hard FM services related to managing the physical aspect of a facility, such as building maintenance, plumbing, etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that all PHRI buildings are clean, safe, and properly maintained.
- Respond to repair requests from staff across multiple PHRI buildings.
- Approve workplans and supervise contractor’s progress.
- Provide strategies for long-term energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Ensure all buildings have adequate supplies for daily operations.
- Conduct routine and consistent facility inspections.
- Maintain accurate cleaning, inspection and safety records and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Coordinate building security access in collaboration with IT.
- Ensure timely janitorial and trash collection services.
- Maintain and ensure all PHRI vehicles.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree or requisite experience
- 5 years' experience handling multiple facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of the Occupational Safety & Health Act.
- Manage all facility maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire, environmental, and health codes.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe) and various business software.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.A.
