A leading post-acute care provider is seeking an accomplished, results-driven Regional Director of Business Development & Market Growth to spearhead strategic growth initiatives across the Gainesville FL markets. This executive-level role is responsible for expanding hospital and physician partnerships, increasing admissions, and driving sustainable census growth across multiple locations. We’re looking for a visionary relationship builder who thrives on opening doors, developing referral networks, and positioning our organization as the preferred post-acute partner throughout the healthcare continuum.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute regional business development strategies that accelerate census growth and expand market share.
- Build, strengthen, and maintain strategic relationships with physicians, physician practices, specialists, hospital case managers, discharge planners, health systems, and other key referral sources.
- Lead physician outreach and development initiatives, cultivating long-term partnerships that generate consistent referral opportunities and position the organization as the post-acute provider of choice.
- Expand hospital referral partnerships while creating sustainable referral pipelines across assigned markets.
- Collaborate with facility leadership and admissions teams to improve referral conversion, streamline transitions of care, and enhance the customer experience.
- Identify emerging market opportunities, analyze referral trends, and implement innovative growth strategies that increase admissions.
- Represent the organization at physician offices, healthcare organizations, networking events, and community outreach initiatives to strengthen brand awareness and referral relationships.
- Partner with operational leaders to ensure exceptional service delivery and continued referral partner satisfaction.
What You Bring:
- 5 years of experience in healthcare business development, physician relations, admissions, marketing, hospital liaison, or strategic account management.
- Experience within post-acute care, rehabilitation, home health, hospice, or other healthcare provider settings strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success developing physician relationships, expanding hospital referral networks, and consistently exceeding admissions and growth goals.
- Experience managing business development across multiple locations or a regional territory preferred.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A competitive, self-motivated leader with a passion for cultivating partnerships, identifying opportunities, and driving measurable growth.
