Prestige Flooring is seeking a skilled and dependable Flooring Installer to join our growing team in Auburn, Alabama. The ideal candidate will have experience installing a variety of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), tile, and carpet. Candidates must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, and carpet flooring according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Measure, cut, and fit flooring materials accurately.
- Prepare subfloors and job sites for installation.
- Remove existing flooring when required.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to job sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Requirements
- Previous flooring installation experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials on a regular basis.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Must have your own installation tools and work vehicle.
- Ability to read measurements and use installation-related equipment.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
