What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ammonia Refrigeration Lead position at Prestage Farms?
- Installation and repair of industrial refrigeration equipment in accordance to blueprints and engineering specs
- Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Provide preventive maintenance to the ammonia systems
- Knowledge of Frick screw and reciprocating computer systems and ice making systems
- Maintain logs and paperwork
- Comply with federal and state laws
- Minimum of 3 years experience with industrial ammoniarefrigeration
- Able to work flexible start times and rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English
- Able to work in hot, cold and wet environments
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Able to stand, squat and climb on a regular basis
