Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring proper food safety standards are maintained
- Maintain clean and safe living environments through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment that encourages social engagement and mental stimulation
Skills
- Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments with knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory care, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental disabilities
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, social workers, families, and clients to deliver comprehensive support
