SummaryThe Engineering / Purchasing Administrator is responsible for assembling the job traveler packages for repeat jobs. This includes printing workorders, drawings, layout sheets, forming aids and any other documents required for the job traveler. On the purchasing/material control side, this position will be responsible for issuing materials to jobs using E2 MFG ERP software.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize the E2 work queue to prepare job traveler packages per the required schedule.
- Identify opportunities for job grouping and nesting to improve material efficiency and productivity
- Verify all document revisions match
- Allocate sheet material and powder to jobs as it is consumed
- Using the auto allocate feature to issue discreet inventory to jobs
- Miscellaneous job duties as assigned to assist Prescott Metal/EAM achieve its goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- Two or more years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and cross functional interpersonal skills.
- Consistently displays a positive, cooperative, self-motivated, and professional attitude.
- Strong work ethic, integrity, initiative, and “can-do” attitude.
- Must have the ability to foster positive relationships with customers, vendors, clients, and coworkers.
- Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with MS Office products including MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Experience with Camming software.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
- Normally seated with the freedom of movement on a regular basis, operating office machines and handling light materials and supplies.
- Normal exposure to office environment and occasional exposure to production/manufacturing environment subject to dust, metal shavings, machinery oil, and powder coating.
- Ability to lift to 25 lbs.
- May spend extended periods operating desktop computer, requiring hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity; and communicating face-to-face, on the telephone and in writing.
- Periodic physical activity requires walking, climbing, bending, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and stooping.
Required Personal Protective Equipment:
- Safety glasses and approved footwear when on the Production floor.
