Duties
- Implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in toddlers
- Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and professionalism
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective behavior management and classroom management techniques
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times and maintain a clean, organized learning space
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive educational experience that aligns with developmental milestones
- Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, attendance, and developmental observations
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in childcare, preschool, camp, babysitting, tutoring, or similar settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of early childhood education best practices and childhood development principles is essential
- Experience managing classrooms or group activities with young children demonstrates strong classroom management skills
- Certifications such as first aid and CPR are preferred to ensure safety and emergency preparedness
