What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Classroom Floater position at Presbyterian Church in the Highlands?
Preschool Floater
Qualifications:
- experience working with children
- Completed pre-service health and safety training
- 45 hours DCF training started with in first 90 days, completed in first 6 months
- Consider completing a staff credential
- Completes other required training; CPR/First Aid, inservice, etc.
- Must be flexible, organized, and a good team player
- Must be professional and goal oriented
- Demonstrates and models a personal Christian Faith
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in various classrooms as needed
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe, positive manner
- Cover breaks and provide support during transitions
- Help with classroom activities, routines, and clean up
- Maintain a clean and organized learning environment (Cleaning, organizing, taking out trash, etc.)
- diapering/toileting
- Handwashing
- Under direction of Lead or Assistant, assists with parent communication and Procare entries
- Assists with classroom environment
- Follows an opening or closing checklist
- Upholds an atmosphere of professionalism, quality, teamwork and unity with all PCH staff
- Have flexibility and can work extra hours if available
- Is willing to take on extra responsibilities or duties as requested
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
