Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Floater to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our preschool staff and ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. This position involves working with various age groups, providing assistance in classrooms, and facilitating activities that promote early childhood development.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and transitions between activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Provide support in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Engage with children through educational games, physical activities, and creative projects that promote learning and development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development in early childhood education.
- Relieve teachers for lunch breaks.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a childcare, daycare, or preschool setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is highly desirable.
- Skills in physical education or toddler care are advantageous for promoting active play among children.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and age groups as needed.
