Responsibilities:
- Daily Datacenter Operations
- Install and set up servers, switches, routers, and related hardware.
- Perform cable patching and labeling in accordance with datacenter standards.
- Maintain accurate task updates in ticketing and inventory systems.
- Configure basic network and management interfaces
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and perform Ethernet/fiber cable swaps.
- Verify device power status and LED alarm indicators.
- Diagnose and resolve copper and fiber cabling issues.
- Execute server reboots and perform initial hardware diagnostics following defined procedures.
- Rack and de-rack hardware, including decommissioning activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory of cabling (multimode, single-mode, and copper).
