The ideal candidate will have a strong background inlogisticsand transportation and be adept at problem-solving and customer service.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and Schedule:Plan and schedule vehicle pickups and deliveries, ensuringoptimalrouting andtimelyexecution.Managing Customer Accounts Ensure that accounts aremonitored,and properly serviced according to that accounts SLAsReporting Provide andutilizereporting on your specificaccount/business unit responsibility.MonitorOrders and Loads:Track the location and status of vehicles using GPS and other tracking systems, ensuring adherence to schedules and addressing any delays or issues.Communicate Effectively:Serve as the primary point of contact between drivers, customers, and internal teams. Provide clear instructions and updates to all parties involved.Handle Inquiries:Manage customer inquiries and concerns, providing prompt and professional responses to ensurehigh levelsof customer satisfaction.Resolve Issues:Address and resolve any problems or discrepancies that arise during transportation, including route changes, delays, or vehicle issues.Documentation:Maintainaccuraterecords of all dispatch activities, including delivery schedules, and customer interactions.Compliance:Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.Qualifications:Experience:Proven experience in a dispatch orlogisticsrole, preferably within the automobile transportation or related industry.Skills:Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.Proficiencyindispatchsoftware and GPS systems.Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with drivers, customers, and team members.Problem-Solving:Ability to quickly assess and resolve issues,demonstratingstrong critical thinking and decision-making skills.Customer Service:Demonstratedcommitment to delivering outstanding customer service andmaintainingpositive relationships with clients.Education:High school diploma or equivalent;additionaltraining or certification inlogisticsor transportation management is a plus.Company DescriptionPreowned Auto Logistics is a privately owned and operated national automotive carrier and broker located in Peabody, MA.They have been providing fast, safe, and reliable auto transportation with superior customer service for over 20 years.
