As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized care and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Help with mobility and physical exercises to maintain physical health.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Experience in home care, senior care, hospice care, or direct support is preferred.
- Knowledge of long-term care practices and patient care techniques.
- Familiarity with assisted living environments is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and understand their unique needs.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for this role.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
