What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Roofing Estimator position at Premiere Roofing?
We are looking for a Commercial Roofing estimator for our new construction commercial division. The ideal candidate will have excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset. You must be thorough and apt in managing relationships with key persons. This person will be teachable and willing to learn and evolve as the industry evolves.
Responsibilities
- Understand the project/program and its requirements
- Perform takeoffs from construction drawings utilizing takeoff software
- Determine key variables for project-specific costs
- Gather pricing and product information from manufacturers and vendors
- Create and submit estimate proposals that demonstrate his/her understanding of the project and valuation
- Build relationships with key vendors (General Contractors, vendors, etc.)
- Track bid opportunities and success rates
Skills
- Knowledge of commercial roofing systems
- Understanding of construction drawings and specifications manuals
- Proven experience as estimator or similar position
- Familiarity with financial principles
- Exquisite math and IT ability with an analytical mindset
- Proficient in relevant software
- Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
- Thoroughness and reliability
- Excellent organizational skills

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
