Description
Material/Small Tools Requests
- Confirms reception of request of materials and/or small tools from company inventory
- Ensures clear and concise communication between Foreman and/or Superintendents and CDL Drivers on the field to confirm pick-up/delivery locations and status.
- Keeps track of all orders and dispatches priority orders first.
- Assigns small tools and small equipment to job sites.
- Ability to load and unload costly materials from company vehicles.
- Occasionally delivers materials, small tools, and small equipment to job sites as requested.
Inventory/Small Tools Management
- Enter material inventory counts into Vista as well as small tool counts into the Excel Inventory Tracker sheet daily as inventory shifts.
- Collects and manages small tools and equipment rental logs and supplies/files receipts.
- Regularly track inventory and report discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
- Maintains a clean and organized warehouse and shophouse.
Truck Tool Inventory
- Ensures all Foreman and Operators Company Vehicles are correctly and fully stocked with needed tools.
New Trucks
- Ensures Company Trucks are up to standard and uniform to the others in the fleet. Material Handlers apply all company logos where needed, as well as equip these vehicles with all the required small tools and safety equipment.
Timecards
- Submits timecards accurately and on time.
Billing and Expense
- Ability to bill correct job/Project according to policies and procedures for equipment, materials, tools, downtime, … etc.
- Submits receipts with correct documentation and information
Qualifications
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of moving materials 50 lb.
- Capable of working outside in hot and cold environments
- Basic computer skills
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English and Spanish
- Ability to follow through and stay flexible with schedule
- Self-motivated – driven to achieve results
- Work with team members maintaining a positive and supportive attitude
- Clean Driving Record
- High school diploma or (GED) preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
