Outside Sales Representative - Construction Staffing

We're Growing Our Florida Sales Team!

Are you the kind of person who would rather be out meeting people, visiting job sites, and building relationships than sitting behind a desk all day?

Premier Trade Services is expanding our Florida sales team, and we're looking for outgoing, motivated sales professionals who know how to make connections, open doors, and turn relationships into business opportunities.

We're not looking for someone who wants to spend all day making cold calls. We want someone who enjoys being out in the field, getting to know contractors, showing up at job sites, and becoming a familiar, trusted face in the local construction community.

What You'll Be Doing

• Outside Sales: Spend significant time in the field meeting contractors, visiting active job sites, and identifying new business opportunities.
• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with project managers, superintendents, foremen, business owners, and other construction industry decision-makers.
• Job Site Visits: Regularly visit commercial and industrial construction sites to introduce PTS, build connections, and stay informed about upcoming manpower needs.
• Networking & PR: Represent Premier Trade Services at industry events, trade association meetings, networking opportunities, and community functions.
• Business Development: Identify prospective clients, generate leads, develop new accounts, and expand our presence throughout your assigned Florida market.
• Client Retention: Stay connected with existing customers through regular in-person visits, relationship management, and ongoing communication.
• Market Awareness: Keep a pulse on local construction activity, upcoming projects, competitors, and opportunities for growth.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with our recruiting and operations teams to ensure we're delivering staffing solutions that meet our clients' needs.
• Sales Activity Tracking: Maintain accurate records of client visits, outreach, sales opportunities, and account activity.

What We're Looking For

• Outside Sales Experience: 2 years of outside sales, business development, or account management experience preferred.
• Construction Industry Experience Strongly Preferred: Experience in commercial or industrial construction, skilled trades staffing, construction supply sales, equipment rental, or related industries is highly desirable.
• Established Industry Connections: Existing relationships with local contractors, project managers, superintendents, or other construction industry professionals are a major plus.
• Natural Relationship Builder: An outgoing personality and a genuine ability to connect with people from all backgrounds.
• Comfortable in the Field: Someone who isn't afraid to walk onto a job site, introduce themselves, and start a conversation.
• Strong Communication Skills: Confident in face-to-face meetings, networking events, and professional conversations.
• Self-Motivated & Organized: Able to manage an assigned territory, prioritize opportunities, and work independently.
• Willingness to Travel Locally: Comfortable spending significant time visiting job sites, clients, and prospects throughout the assigned market.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, or plumbing construction is a plus.
