Shipping & Receiving Associate

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily shipping, receiving, packaging, and inventory operations at our tooling manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for preparing products for shipment, laser etching and labeling items as needed, packaging and securing boxes, maintaining shipping supply inventory, and processing incoming deliveries. The ideal candidate is organized, takes pride in maintaining a clean and orderly workspace, and understands the importance of accuracy and care when handling products and shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laser etching on products and components according to established instructions and specifications.
• Wrap, package, label, and prepare products for shipment, ensuring items are properly protected and secured.
• Prepare and ship secure boxes and packages with attention to accuracy, presentation, and shipping requirements.
• Verify shipment contents, labels, and documentation before packages leave the facility.
• Receive incoming shipments, inspect deliveries for accuracy or visible damage, and distribute items to the appropriate departments or personnel.
• Maintain accurate inventory of shipping and packaging supplies, including boxes, wrapping materials, labels, and other consumables.
• Monitor supply levels and communicate when materials need to be reordered.
• Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and free of unnecessary clutter.
• Maintain and care for equipment and tools used in daily shipping and packaging activities.
• Follow established safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies.
• Assist with other warehouse, production support, and general facility tasks as needed.

• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn shipping software and inventory systems.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
• Willingness to learn laser etching equipment and shipping procedures.
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, packaging, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout the work area for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move packages and supplies as required by the position, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving wrapping, packing, labeling, and handling materials.
• Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and follow all applicable safety procedures.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
