Maintenance Technical Lead

The Maintenance Technical Lead responsibilities include but not limited to:• Plan, coordinate, prioritize, assign, supervise, implement and review maintenance and test set up activities in an automotive testing facility • Oversee and direct the activities of a multi-trade crew to complete required tasks in a safe and timely manner.• Comply with the collective bargaining agreement, Canadian Electrical Code, TSSA, corporate policies and other applicable regulations in the organization and execution of maintenance activities.• Develop procedures and make improvements to existing.• Troubleshoot automated testing system issues and determine corrective actions• Manage aspects of environmental health and safety conformance• Oversee a preventative maintenance program for automotive testing equipment and facilities • Prioritize tasks based on urgency and workforce availability• Maintain accurate hourly timekeeping records, vacation and time off requests• Develop scope of work for maintenance contracts• Perform environmental inspections and coordinate waste pickups.• Procure parts, material and rentals required to complete tasks• Track data for performance measurable such as Preventative Maintenance task completion, Work Orders, man hours, overtime, etc.• Maintain good supplier/customer relations with internal customers and outside suppliers• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and equipment Requirements:High school diploma, trade or a technical diploma from a post secondary institution.5-10 years of experience supervising maintenance and skilled trade activities in an industrial or construction environmentExperience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systemsExperience in a unionized labour environment, 5 -10 years would be a benefit.Willingness to accept a wide variety of assignmentsKnowledge of Ontario Building Code, Electrical Safety Code, OH&SA Regulations relating to industrial maintenance activitiesKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software, ability to learn and operate other computer based and web based programsStrong project management, organizational, teamwork, written and verbal communication skillsMust have a valid driver's licenseWilling to work weekends as requiredAdditional Information/ Must Have's:Computers skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software and ability to use computer and web based softwareMust have a valid driver's licenseWilling to work weekends as requiredDriving a company vehicle is required.Amount of travel, of so where: Little to none.Onsite @ ARDC

Salary : $103,900 - $142,700
