Job Description:

We are seeking a Certified Medication Technician to join our team at our personal care facility in Avoca, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering medication to residents as prescribed by a physician and ensuring that proper documentation is maintained. In addition, the Certified Medication Technician will also assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication to residents according to physician orders
• Document medication administration and any observed side effects
• Assist residents with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor residents for any changes in condition and report to nursing staff as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Medication Technician
• Prior experience working in a personal care or assisted living facility preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
