Healthcare Security Shift Supervisor – Multiple Shifts
Premier Security, a locally owned security company, is seeking qualified candidates for full-time Healthcare Security Shift Supervisor positions. Day, swing, and graveyard shifts may be available depending on qualifications and organizational needs. This position involves leading a security team while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
Oregon DPSST Unarmed Security Certification is not required to apply. Training and licensing assistance are provided upon hire.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise security officers and coordinate daily operations.
- Manage schedules, time-off requests, and open shift coverage.
- Serve as a liaison between security personnel and hospital staff.
- Review reports, assist with employee evaluations, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Respond to incidents, de-escalate conflicts, and assist with emergencies.
- Perform security duties, including patrols, access control, visitor screening, and incident reporting.
- Monitor designated hospital systems and assist with parking and traffic control as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to obtain an Oregon DPSST Unarmed Professional Security License.
- Must be proficient in spoken and written English.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana.
- Must have reliable transportation and communication.
- Must maintain consistent attendance and be available to work assigned shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous security experience.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior security and supervisory experience are preferred but not required. We are seeking dependable, motivated individuals who can lead by example and provide professional security services in a healthcare environment.

Pay: $20.64 - $22.90 per hour
