Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. This position is responsible for leasing, resident relations, property operations, and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the property. Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the property
- Lease apartment homes and conduct tours for prospective residents
- Prepare, process, and maintain leasing paperwork, renewals, and addendums
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident phone calls, emails, and inquiries
- Screen rental applications according to company policies and procedures
- Accurately create and process leases in Rent Café or other property management software
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs with residents, vendors, and maintenance staff
- Coordinate and submit maintenance requests while following up on completed work
- Perform regular vacant unit inspections and coordinate needed repairs
- Maintain positive resident relations and address resident concerns professionally
- Serve notices and assist with delinquent rent follow-up and collections as needed
- Market available apartment homes through signage, online advertising, and outreach efforts
- Walk the property regularly to monitor cleanliness, maintenance needs, and safety concerns
- Keep common areas clean, organized, and presentable
- Assist with light groundskeeping duties including weed pulling, light landscaping, snow removal, and sidewalk upkeep as needed
- Coordinate vendor and contractor access for property work and repairs
- Assist with utility coordination for resident move-ins and move-outs
- Maintain accurate records and complete additional tasks assigned by management
Qualifications
Successful candidates should:
- Have previous customer service, leasing, or property management experience preferred
- Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Have excellent communication and resident relation skills
- Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and professionalism
- Be comfortable using computers, email, Microsoft Office, and property management software
- Enjoy working in a team-oriented environment
- Have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
