Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
- Maintain restrooms by cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and stripping to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle commercial cleaning duties in offices, hallways, and common areas.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Engage in residential painting projects when necessary to enhance facility aesthetics.
- Provide porter services by assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment as needed.
- Uphold janitorial best practices to ensure all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices will be beneficial.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
