Local Route Delivery Driver (Non CDL)

What you’ll do:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Box Truck Driver to join our produce warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting fresh produce from our warehouse to local customers, retailers, and distribution centers. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our products are delivered on time and in excellent condition.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operate a box truck to deliver produce to assigned locations

• Load and unload produce, ensuring proper handling to maintain quality

• Verify delivery accuracy with invoices and customer orders

• Maintain delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and other required documentation

• Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse staff regarding schedules and delivery updates

• Assist with general warehouse duties when needed (loading, organizing pallets, etc.)

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required, but preferred if applicable)

• Clean driving record with proven experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles

• Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns is a plus

• Dependable, punctual, and customer-service oriented
