Box Truck Transfer Driver & Warehouse Support

Premier ProduceOne, an Ohio leader in food service distribution, is seeking a Box Truck Transfer Driver/Warehouse Support team member to join us at our Cleveland facility. Transfer inventory between our Columbus and Cleveland locations.

Schedule is 6:00 pm- 2am or until finished. Some overtime is to be expected.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for hauling fresh produce loads between our warehouses.
• Work with a sense of urgency in a professional manner
• Shrink-wrap pallets ensuring they are secure.
• Load finalized picked pallets onto trucks.
• Support night shift as needed.
• Practice safety while entering/exiting/operating vehicle.
• Perform work with a sense of urgency in order to meet customers’ needs.
• Communicate regularly with the dispatcher.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Possess a DOT Medical Card or be able to pass a physical.
• Maintain a clean MVR and meet insurability standards.
• Prior professional box truck experience required.
• Safely operate and maneuver our 24’ – 26’ standard shift and/or automatic box truck. Maintain truck temperatures to comply with food safety policies.
• Have a work history satisfactorily performing the skills listed above.
• Perform work within company guidelines with a focus on safety.
• Possess an eye for detail and complete work accurately and completely.
• Forklift certification or experience preferred.
