Position Overview
Premier Polymers LLC is a specialty chemical manufacturing company seeking an Entry-Level QC Laboratory Technician to support quality control testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career candidate looking to gain hands-on laboratory experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform routine quality control testing following established SOPs
· Test raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
· Conduct basic wet chemistry and instrumental analyses (training provided)
· Prepare samples, reagents, and standards for testing
· Accurately record data in laboratory notebooks or electronic systems
· Assist senior technicians and chemists with investigations and retesting
· Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and inventory
· Follow all safety, quality, and procedural requirements
Qualifications
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or a related field
· 0–2 years of laboratory experience (internships, co-ops, or academic labs acceptable)
· Basic understanding of laboratory practices and safety
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
· Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing-focused team environment
Preferred
· Exposure to industrial or QC laboratory environments
· Familiarity with basic analytical techniques (e.g., titrations, FTIR, GC, HPLC, UV-Vis)
· Experience with electronic data entry or LIMS
