Job Overview
We are seeking a customer-focused Service Greeter/Automotive Service Advisor Trainee to join an already sucessful and dynamic team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout their automotive repair experience. You will learn mechanical knowledge and automotive expertise as you progress, The position is to help our team and ensure our customers have a seamless service process.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs to customers.
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain clear communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions and service history.
- Promote additional services such as oil changes, brake repair, tire service, and diesel engine repair as appropriate.
- Stay updated on automotive industry trends and new technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience customer service is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge is preferred but can be trained.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Previous experience in automotive sales is advantageous but not required.
- A valid driver's license is necessary for this position.
